Air Tightness Testing
Commercial and residential air tests

Air tightness testing (also known as air permeability, air leakage and air pressure testing) is required to pass Building Regulations Part L. This can be for both residential and commercial properties.

Why do I need an Air Test?

The Government wants to make sure all properties are efficient to run for heating. Air leakage and drafts allow warm air to escape from a property and cold air to infiltrate, meaning heating systems need to work harder to keep the space warm. An air test checks the air leakage in the property to ensure it meets your required level.
